Has a coach with a team in the top 8 ever been sacked?

Not being smart, just actually wondering.

Rattan was sacked when they went from top 4 to 6th from memory.

Something else going on than just ladder position, never made public.

Oooh, Eddie just cracked it when Crocker hit the post. Are Eddie's sons old enough to play yet?

If we have finished 12th in 2017, our draw would have been tougher and we wouldn’t have finished top 4, wouldn’t have made the granny and he would already be gone.

Just a thought,
Sack Bucks,
trade Grundy,
delist all injury prone battlers
appoint Roos, Ratten or someone with pedigree
build a young squad around De Goey
rebuild and wait
the alternative is keep Bucks, retain same old injury prone battlers and same game plan and achieve nothing

Was that our punishment for beating Melbourne in the final round of 2017, and ending their spot in the eight, lol!

Sacking him is extreme, but extending his contract for years for no reason at the start of this year was very foolish. They should have extended it one year.

It happens in soccer all the time. Mourinho had Manchester United in sixth and he got the arse.

The Corio dribbler rears his head again. Never hear from him when we win.
