That is the dream!!!! It has happened. Let's hope whatever happens on the other side, that these three teams smash the living daylights out of each other.....

Agreed.

Preference is to play Brisbane, GWS or Bulldogs in the prelim.

A Richmond West Coast prelim may just be more brutal.

Its heading towards a Pies vs Tigers GF.

They would love nothing more than to get redemption for last year.

DeGoey needs to come good for us.

i wouldnt be getting ahead of ourselves here. That Giants team is almost at full strength now and it looks seriously good. Remember that they dismantled us only 2 months ago.

I would be worrying only about them right now.

My prediction of straight set exits for the top two teams is looking pretty on the money right about now.

Not surprising. Both Geelong and Brisbane were favoured by easy draws and the Lions have been playing on passion. You can't do that in finals. Finals footy always finds the weaker sides out. The "top two" teams this year were fake.

Don't assume too much, though, about next week's games. Most years, the media get very excited about the winners of the matches between the 5th to 8th teams - and it seems that most years they get absolutely flogged the following week.

Tigers, WCE, GWS and us are the bets 4 teams this year- regardless of ladder position.

Would be fitting for all to play prelim.

As E said- GWS looked bloody good yesterday- no easy games this time of year

Bulldogs pumped GWS by 10 goals 3 weeks ago. Anything can happen.

Our trump card is Grundy. And the fact that the others haven't seen Wills up close and what he has brought to our stoppages.

History has shown though, don't write off the top 4 teams too hastily, however they present in week one of the finals.

The bad news for Geelong was the the Eagles were top 2 in rounds 19-20, and for Brisbane, GWS were often top 4 up until round 15, with a significantly harder draw.
