its morning drizzle patches but clearing by mid day cloudy after noon and cloudy evening max 19 winds are moderate north westerly breezes. 15 km per hr. Rain fall in morning is around 1-2 mms but will clear out by noon.

so the ground maybe a tad slick but dry conditions

richmonds weather for their prelim is drier again but more windy stronger northery winds are predicted

I think you stand a better chance of picking the final scores than accurately predicting the weather this far out...

Trying to predict Melbourne weather 2 hours ahead is hard, trying to do it 2 weeks ahead is picking lotto numbers

Perhaps we can ask Chris Scott for his weather forecast? Wink

I think we should drop our ruckman and put our AA defender into the ruck.

It's a plan that is sure to work one day.

BOM can't predict the weather 24 hours ahead, let alone 2 weeks. Just ask Chris Scott

At least in our case our AA (potential) defender is the son of a Brownlow medalist ruckman.

I think the media have been over the top with their criticism of Scott though. Seems to be some scores being settled. Stanley is not a world beater and is very unreliable.

In my view it was our small forward line that caused their selection confusion. With only one tall forward they were faced with a decision to: play Stanley and drop Taylor/Henry or leave Stanley out and play Blicavs in the ruck. They obviously rate Henry and Taylor much more than Stanley, which is fair enough. The other consideration would have been Blicav's ability to go with Grundy around the ground and even exploit him for run.

Cloudy and dry max temp 18 the Friday night before is looking at being really wet but for the pies prelim its going to be dry light to mod westerly breezes. We have the more drier conditions then richmonds prelim as that ones going to be wet and slick.

FFS so far we've had post saying it will rain, then it won't, then it will.

So far we know it might rain. Or might not. Great discussion this one.

Decent rainfall on Friday night going into Saturday. Hopefully only a couple of showers by later on in the day.
