we all saw it last night, pressure builds perceived pressure.
Richmond shit themselves, especially houli. hawks pressing toward Richmond
at every moment in the game, then easily cleaned up the spilled pill and scored over the back through Burgoine (how did he get off),(remember grundy anyone?) any who. can we turn mid field pressure into scoring moments?
I'm not so sure. Do we have midfield pressure or do we have a good back six
who can read play better than the forwards we face from time to time.
Wills should help this issue but all he can do is hammer someone in a tackle,
not much else, so we need to play close to the contest for Wills inclusion to
work.
Last week our forwards were lazy. Dropping Thomas was a no brainer but keeping T Brown against a lightening quick and skilled oppo who was better
than us last year, I would have tried to stifle them with close checking and
kept Madgen in.
Bucks probably wants to see more goals from a break out go to us for a change. however we cant sustain that style all game, we consistently go
back in our shells and think defense when the going gets tough. Hard to pick us in this one. Saints at a terrible time slot just to make it a shiity Saturday night. _________________ no second chances |

I can't remember the last time Hoskin-Elliot really provided much at all tbh. Can be great when he's firing, but we don't see it much. |

The tigers were last yrs Premiers, two flags in three yrs, or does that simple fact escape you ? |
Eggsactly,
We have won twice since 1958, and how many 2nds.
Pies supporters sometimes need to show some humility.
mind you, if Clarkson had been coaching that 2018 GF team, we would have won. Best coach in the league since Matthews. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

So after the WB vs GWS game tonight, I am wondering if our victory over the WB was meaningless, as some here have claimed. Or maybe not only Richmond, but their opponents in the 2019 Premiership, GWS, are both sh*t?? _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

We've added much needed grunt in the midfield and a touch of class up forward.
The Saints are an improved team, but we should win this one. Pies by 26 points. |
Saint have averaged 71 points through rounds one and two. A 26-point win means we’d probably need to score 80+. In 64 mins. After kicking just 5 goals last week at the same ground. In the rain. _________________ Est. 2002 |
