This never ceases to amaze me, year after year: Current Consecutive Games
How ANY player can last this long at senior level, with the amount of tackling and collisions, defies logic.
You'd think most players would miss a week at least once a season with a minor niggle? But no, they keep on fronting up.
https://afltables.com/afl/stats/succgames.html
Our ever reliable and highly durable Duracell bunny, Jack Crisp, leads the current crop of AFL players:
Jack Crisp CW 163
Clayton Oliver ME 109
Todd Goldstein NM 87
Christian Petracca ME 81
Brayden Maynard CW 81
Marcus Bontempelli WB 70 [although that may come to a grinding halt within 24 hours...]
And wonderful to see the players evidently not good enough to play for us anymore, string a few games together...
James Aish FR 30
Tom Phillips HW 22
Paul Seedsman AD 22
================
And players not even listed during 2019 featuring:
John Noble CW 35
Darcy Cameron CW 18
I recall years ago, Kade Simpson led the field, with Dane Swan close behind.
Who else had stellar runs that you can recall? Dusty? Yze?
And is there a more comprehensive overall chart than this one available online? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Crisp hasn't missed a game with us since he first joined the club at the end of 2014.
He's played in every game from 201 -onwards which is an impressive feat.
The all-time record of consecutive games is held by the late Jim Stynes (244), so Crisp would need another 4 seasons to reach it, which is estimated to be in 2025. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Petracca is impressive given his career started with an ACL. |

Great mate; i'll check that out.
Just as well it didn't cost him too many Brownlow votes in 2011! _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Crisp of course has added value 'cos he's playing for a club that has been clueless on injury management for a decade. If he played for a club that was good with injury management and rehap, he wouldn't be so important.
Let's hope the new fitness guy knows his ****. |
