Should be reported by media soon. I’m guessing fracture. Edit: here we go, they’re faster than me haha. I got a coffee and some brunch before reporting though. Refractured, likely needs surgery and won’t be back on the track until 2022.

Scott Pendlebury's 2021 is done after fracturing his leg at training

That freaked me out for a second until I remembered what year it is!

Yeah caught me out too! I read it as next season done. Thank god he’s only done for 2021, which is only 4 weeks

These things will keep happening until
We change our fitness staff.

Entirely possible that these things will keep happening even if we do change our fitness staff.

As I said when they signed him up for 2 more years.
The older they get the more prone to injuries they get.
I got roasted for saying it was a dumb idea to give him 2 more years.
He will be lucky to come back for a long time.
Probably towards the mid year.

From what I know (which isn't much) a plate can greatly accelerate recovery so hopefully he is back up and around quicker than mid year

Same spin from Ed and Bucks, he’ll be fine to go in January my ass. We need to clean this club out, the fitness staff especially… oh wait 😂

Much ado about nothing. He’ll be back on the track in January. I’m expecting it’ll be late Jan, but the docs are being cautious so no need to panic.

Yeah, I was thinking how does the fitness staff stop a player breaking his leg?

I reckon there is a possibility Pendles may relinquish being Captain if he is not available for the 1st Round.

Mate as you know, our fitness staff are meant to be witch doctors with psychic powers and ability to predict all injuries. Some here believe this as a fact and relentless criticise them for malpractice. Logic has no involvement in their thinking. They just love portraying their opinions as facts.

It’s not the fitness team that takes the bullets for this

When the fracture last year caused Scott to miss the last 4 rounds the injury became the doctor’s responsibility and we surely have a specialist who makes decisions on the repair AND the recovery

When they medically decide to hand him back to training one would hope they have done a good operation

He could have just been stiff

He's going to be even stiffer with a plate in his leg!
