You might find this interesting if you get bored waiting for the draft.
Matthew Lloyd has re-drafted the top 10 of the 2016 National Draft

Our boy Josh Daicos figures in 6th spot:

Quote:
Pick 6 – Josh Daicos, Collingwood (originally pick 57, father/son)

“Josh Daicos, he was a father-son (selection) and he went at pick 57, he has been a gun.”

According to Lloyd, only 2 players from the original top 10 players rankings made it to his list.

As we already know, some of the best players can come from later picks,
e.g., Brownlow medallist Dane Swan pick 58, similar pick to Josh, actually.

The thing about Josh is that he was so skinny when we drafted him. You couldn’t blame the other clubs passing up on him. You’ll see the same thing in this coming national draft - players who don’t look as though they can play emerging as top players as their bodies mature. It’s a nightmare for recruiters. Graham Wright has the right idea. He looks at players who have all the skills. You can’t teach 18-19 yo’s how to kick or handball. Either they have it or they don’t. In the case of Josh Daicos he had all the necessary skills when he arrived at the club.
