Treloar because of the way it was done, but I voted Grundy because he’s the better player

Treloar. He made us realise how bad our salary cap was

Still think Treloar would be with us if it weren’t for the hammies and the covid hub

Treloar, he was such a nice person, loyal, caring and talented.

Treloar's trade was forever covered in ignominy because of the manner in which it was done: cover up, lies, cruelty
Grundy's trade does not have the same ignominy attached to it, but is still extremely hard to bear because of his immense talent that we are giving away for loose change.
I think the Treloar trade was harder to bear because it made me so ashamed, not of our glorous club, but of the incumbent coaching team and list management.
The Grundy trade is more like a bitter chalice to swallow in the hope of moving on the better for it.

Treloar was replaceable. Grundy has to be compensated for, not replaced, worth two players.

Treloar because it all happened in a rush and was handled very poorly.

Grundy is a bigger loss but a carefully weighted (respectful) campaign allowed people to become conditioned to the inevitable.

The Treloar trade was a clustercluck from start to finish.

The Grundy trade, while unpalatable, was managed better. Doesn't mean I agree with it, just acknowledging it was managed far better.

Hard to compare. Treloar was a cluster and given we’d just paid 2 first rounders for Beams who we got %$^$%^&%% all back for, everyone expected Treloar to also be two firsts. For a player in his prime we were not compensated aside from getting the money off the books. His contract was understandable though in that we were trying to keep the group together to win a flag.

Grundy we were conditioned for thanks to the above cluster. Coming off an injury and not in the form that saw him get the contract on massive overs. Add to that we don’t need 3 ruckman on our list and he becomes expendable.

Treloar’s harder to swallow because salary dumping was a new concept and on the back of missing our window and the Beams fiasco. Grundy was worse because it reeked of mismanagement from a club in turmoil (at the time of signing).

The good thing about all this is with Grundy gone, we have righted the ship (painfully) from the 2019-2020 %$^$%^&%% ups!

I agree we don't need 3 ruckmen on the books. It'd be ok to have one, though.

Treloar easily the manner it was handled was atrocious.

Grundy is easier to swallow because I think it was a mutual decision

The optics around the way we dealt with Treloar's departure were far worse than Grundy's departure.

However, Grundy feels like the bigger loss.
