We were undermanned, but still disappointing to lose to a direct rival this close to finals.
Being glass half full, it’s still in our hands to finish on top and gather some momentum before the finals with a big performance against Essendon next week.
Appears Brisbane are very likely playing a home Qualifying Final. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

No N Daicos, de Goey, Moore, Hill. Always going to struggle with them out. Brisbane pretty much getting a home game advantage at marvel, it’d be a different story at the mcg.
Seriously club. $£$%^%%$ say something about the illegal blocks and holds on Pendles at ball ups, it’s a disgrace Neale and the other turd were allowed to get away with it. We have the money, pay the fine.

BNE have given themselves an easy path to the GF.
Unfortunately for us, we won’t be their opponents. _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

Was Murphy concussed from getting whacked in the head and no free kick, again?
I’m glad we kicked the last couple and kept it under 39 points 😉 |

No, don’t think so, it didn’t appear (on the replay) that he hit his head. _________________ WE WERE ROBBED, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, RIGHT IN FRONT OF MEEE!

Club officially in crisis. Carlton ended our season and exposed us as frauds. We’re not making past the 2nd week of finals _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

BT worst commentator in the league!
Every time we got close Brisbane would kick another 2-3 goals. Game hung around a 3 goal margin for much of the game.
We missed a lot of players tonight and look to have lost a few more e.g. Murphy & Elliot with both possible concussions. And maybe McCreery suspended… BT will be campaigning for a suspension all week.
Umpiring again diabolical.
Essendon next week with Draper back in the side. Minor Premiership at risk. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Lions too good for us. They knew if they won tonight they are virtually guaranteed a GF spot.
All my optimism has faded tonight. Wrong time of the year for a form slump, injuries. We might win a final but I am worried about so much about our team at the moment.
It’s a long season and we look like we are feeling that right now.
Btw, Pendles fantastic. |

Fairly predictable outcome, but still disappointing. I thought we showed a lot of heart, and probably would have been closer if it hadn't been for Murphy going off early in the final term (which left the rest of our defence as sitting ducks). Very much hope he's okay and that it's only a one-week injury at worst.
Who knew that Cox would be an inspired choice as sub? Ended up giving us a lot after coming on, and I'd totally play him next week based on that. Ginnivan had a strong showing again, Elliott and Mihocek were decent up forward, Howe good for a brief patch in the third but otherwise unsighted, and McStay did a lot of good things. Really liked Maynard's game, and Pendlebury had one of his best performances of the year. A few highlights along the way – Noble's blind turn and goal in the first was brilliant, and I loved some of Markov's one percenters. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange

Pendlebury our best player.
Cox got us back into it when he came on. Ginnevan also good tonight with his efforts. Both make a strong case to stay in the side. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club
