Brisbane, I have a sweeter collect if they win tomorrow.

Brisbane. They will feel heat they haven’t felt before.

I know it’s a bit perverse, but it’s Carlton for me. We match up on them better, and think how sweet it would be to beat them.

Whilst Carlton is an easier opponent, the lead up and stress would be a killer.

Plus I’ve backed Brisbane for the flag so if we play them I win either way!!!

Brisbane.

Playing Carlton is just too stressful to handle.

We had a crack at them and it didn’t go so well…

I wonder if the (serious) answers to this question might split down the line according to age, by which I mean you mostly have grand final PTSD specifically related to Brisbane (i.e. Millennials and younger Gen Xers) or Carlton (older Gen Xers and Boomers).

I’m squarely in the former camp – 2002/2003 were where the roots of my angst as a Collingwood supporter were formed. But I know enough about the club’s past to understand how much pain would be healed by beating Carlton for the first time in over a century and equalling their premiership record in one fell swoop.

This is correct.

I also feel if they're good enough to beat Brisbane at the GABBA they're not the easier option anyway.

A bruising encounter is what I want most, for Brisbane to win by a small margin and hope the G can prove the difference next week.

Carlton

Unlike other Vic teams, we can't beat interstate teams in the GF

Carlton for me. If they manage to beat Brisbane it will take everything they have, and we will roll them next week. The Lions on the other hand, well we haven't beaten them for a long time and have not shown any real ability to do so. Their forwards will be a nightmare to contain, I think.

Carlton. If they can beat Brisbane they should be spent after a gruelling marathon. We have met Brisbane twice this year and been pantsed both times.
