Congrats to the club on reaching another preliminary final, its 9th since 2002.
Prelims = (2002, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2018, 2019)
Since 2002, this is the number of prelim final appearances for each club:
- Geelong = 10
- Collingwood = 9
- Sydney = 7
- Hawthorn = 6
- St Kilda = 5
- Port Adelaide = 5
- Adelaide = 5
- West Coast = 5
- Western Bulldogs = 4
- Brisbane = 3
- Fremantle = 3
- North Melbourne = 3
- Richmond = 3
- GWS = 3
- Melbourne = 1
- Carlton = 0
- Essendon = 0
- Gold Coast = 0
We've had a good run, but just haven't translated it into more silverware in the end. Hopefully 2019 changes all of that! _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 |

AND finalists in:
2006: unexpected EF loss
2008: SF loss, minus Didak and Shaw
2013: unexpected EF loss, riddled with hubris
then came the rebuild, and gaps years from 2014-2017 _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

this is really sad when you put it side by side with the list of premierships won in the same period........ _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Think it's a great achievement. It means lots of wins and value for money as a member. Compare it to the Dees and Freo's etc... _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

premeirships are all that matter at the end of the day. How many arguments have you had with opposing fans where your winning argument was - yeah, well how many preliminary finals have you been in....... _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Well, we were robbed in 2002, beaten by seconds in 2007 to advance to a foregone conclusion flag, and robbed again in 2018.
And that's REALLY sad... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Really? It was so recent and I can't remember. We won the first final without them. Then? |

Grand finals in the same period. Pies and Hawks both on 5, Cats on 4. I won’t bother mentioning the conversion rate of each. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

In an equalised and diluted competition, that’s successful in anyone’s language.
Unfortunately, the ultimate success is where we fall short. |

I would expect it to be after the conclusion of tonight's game, where they announce the SF & PF venues and times.
Expect us to play Saturday afternoon/twilight (if vs an interstate side) or Saturday evening (if vs a Melb. side) _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing |
