the afl now consists of BRISBANE LIONS, ADELAIDE CROWS, PORT ADELAIDE POWER, and COLLINGWOOD and ESSENDON flying the flag for victoria as battling suburban sacrificial lambs for the rich interstate teams that the afl have created into monsters. first you had west coast eagles as the first monster the afl created. at on time between 1992-1994 you could not have any chance of beating them at home. then adelaide crows were the next monster created between 1997-1998. in between that you had the afl doing everything to prop up sydney "shitkicker" swans and even then they couldnt win a flag when they were given an armchair ride into the 1996 grand final. then brisbane lions were the next and still current monsters created by the AFL (Anti-victorian Football League). its only a matter of time before port power and the dockers win back to back flags and dominate the league. a monster means, a team that has had considerably more resources to draw from than the other victorian teams and ended up having star players at every position thus making them virtually unbeatable. you have only got to look at your history books. who was the last victorian team to win back to back flags. it was the hawthorn side from the eighties and those days are over. the last 2 back to back teams have been interstate sides. PUT SIMPLY IT IS LOBSIDED AND DISCRIMATORY. i will never forgive or forget the way the afl shafted fitzroy. thats why i would advise you all to proudly support our beloved pies, but dont expect any favours from the afl. a victorian side is going to have to face more adversity than just their opponents to win a premiership in this day and age. i predict an all interstate grand final this year. what a sad day that will be when on grand final day at the mcg as the first ball is bounced stands not one remnant of a traditional victorian suburban side, but two interstate fabricated teams with no tradition nor history. the fact that collingwood has lost the last two grand finals is proof of this. |
