2012 Sponsorship - Level and Player Decision.....

Post by MargOZ »

LEVEL AND PLAYER DECISION!

Hi everyone,

Just an update to advise we currently have pledges to the total of $2100.

That means we can easily sponsor a Player of the Future (with some money left over to go towards extra raffle prizes or other options as agreed by the group) OR we just squeeze in to sponsor a Team Player.

Could those involved in the sponsorship, and who have a preference, please post here the level and player you would like us to sponsor. I know there are some preferences in the other thread but if you can just choose one level and one player and post it in this thread, that would be great.

I will do a tally and see which way the majority rule!

Thanks so much for all the pledges. Will PM bank details tomorrow.

Marg

Wow

Ok - my absolute preference is Team Player level. Tyson the Viking Goldsack for me. (Disappointed to not see Toovey's name in that list)

Is this a preferential voting system? Can I give my second vote to Shae Mac if the majority decree that we go Players of the Future?

Personally I'd go with a player of the future on the assumption that some pledges won't pay. If you get extra money, turn it into raffle prizes.

On the list available, my preference is Shae then paine.

Stui's theory sounds good, so based on that my Player of the Future preferences in order are the Yagmeister, Witts or my boy Seedsman.

I must admit, on past history there has always been some who have either paid late (or not at all) - so my preference is a Player of the Future. I also like that we may choose a young guy who is going to be a future champion!

Okay, if we get a few more Player of the Future preferences in here, I will then run a quick poll to make a final decision.

I will also advise the Club that we will forward our player choice and paperwork to them on Monday. At that point I will also need to pay them an initial payment of $900.

Forwarding bank details today.

Thanks,
Marg
