David Rodan?

Will turn 29 in October. Sits on 173 games and 128 goals.

One of those players that has played mostly in losing teams with Richmond and Port Adelaide. (Port's 2007 season aside).

What do you think?

Definitely worth a shot. Great skills and courage. If played in the forward line to help reduce the workload on his knees and with the proven ability of Collingwood's fitness / rehab team re bringing players back to their best, he could be really valuable for another 2-3 years.

He is an X Factor player. Had a decent game coming in as the sub yesterday. Can still play at AFL level, even if only in limited minutes.

Probably hard to fit him in the side, but I'm all about fairytales!

If he was on the list now, would he be playing against the Hawks?

I can't work Rodan out. Can be a real impact player and game breaker, but then keeps getting dropped ???????? Does he have off field issues? Training issues? Personality issues?
Manassa is on the 50m, fakes the handball. He's going to shoot for goal, and he's put it through! HE'S PUT IT THROUGH. By golly what an individual effort. Thats got to be the GOAL OF THE CENTURY.

After being delisted, can be signed up now.

Sounds like he's back to Richmond.

Could he be the ultimate substitute player?

Wouldn't fit on our senior list but another club will pick him up and if he can stay fit then he should do quite well for them.

I'd give him a go if we can fit him on - he'll come cheap, one year deal, play him up forward with the Krak if he makes it, if not, he's not wasted much

Nah, we've got the Krak and Didak. No need for another injury prone almost 30 year old that was unable to run out full games last season.

We probably don't have enough list spots anyway.

Reckon we would be better off developing Elliott. Think he is or could be a similar player.

We don't have a free spot on the list Especially for a risk like Rodan. Good luck to him though. Hope he finds another home.
