I mustn't be hip to slang here, but if I read this right he's been convicted of a burglary in Perth?

Great guy. No sympathy here. If you want to throw away an AFL career and choose crime instead then so be it. At least we wont have to hear what a mistake it was not drafting him (again).
Correct Wokko, just me trying to get hip with the lingo!
But yes, a great call in hindsight to dodge this nitwit at last draft.
Or is that Hine-sight?

Could have been playing in a Grand Final this week but instead is cooling his heels in custody.

I'll let the bleeding hearts wring their hands and offer up the why's and what for's to explain the plight of young Dayle.

I'll just go with the hard evidence that says he was given a gold ticket to earn a great livelihood at the best club (with a great record of providing a happy environment for indigenous players) going around but lacked the brains, guts and discipline to make the most of it.

He's a loser.

Being charged with aggravated burglary is extremely serious. He either possessed a weapon or someone was present in the house that he burgled along with all the other elements that are required for burglary to exist.

Pity that he'll probably never play in the top level despite being given a chance to play for Hawthorn.

Got no sympathy for him.
He chose to run around with some local filth and commit burgs over a lucrative AFL career.
Could understand him not being able to cope with the stresses of the AFL processes and to come home but to burn his contract and take this step, your a tool.

Sorry Dale. Cool your heels and enjoy those 3 meals a day.
