Levi is a great pickup and will help somewhat in losing Beams. Would have preferred pick 23 instead of Varcoe, as I think he is past his best, but just like any other player than gets drafted and pulls on the Black and White stripes you have to give the guy a chance.

Players should start to hit peak form 26-27-28. Let's not be too quick to write Varcoe off just yet. Injuries aside, he was on his way to being a GUN a few years ago before injuries struck. Hopefully he can build on his 23 game season in 2014 and add some senior experience/value for a few years. Must be doing something right to play nearly all games in a premiership fancy team in Geelong.

I'm thinking this may be the end of Caff tagging at the Centre bounces though; Greenwood Caff and Pendles may be a bit slow to stop centre bursts.

Actually did this year what Beams didn't.
Finished 2nd in the b&f in a team that played off in a prelim.
