If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?

Post by Morrigu »

I've been very lucky to meet 2 incredible women - Jill Robinson and Jane Goodall who are absolute heroes of mine in the last 12 months.

If you were given the opportunity to meet anyone in the world - who would you pick and why?

That's a frigging hard question as there's no one that comes to mind that I admire or hero worship that I would like to meet.

I'll get back to you.

oooh thats is a hard one.
it changes.
when i was a teen it was Leif Garrett, and Dale Buggins, i met Dale one night at the showgrounds, had a nice chat, sadly he was gone a couple of years later.

I got to shake hands with Princess Di, and Charles, damn him!!

Then it was Peter Brock, and my boss at GMH who once ran HDT, surprised me one day in his office, i walk in and there is Brocky!! he got us a coffee and we had a great chat, i will never ever forget it.

Last year I ran into Lisa Vanderpump at the airport in Charlotte, Northern Carolina, Shes not just a "'housewife" She is trying to end the Yullin Dog festival, She has put a lot of her own money into producing a heart breaking documentary about it, and She got it put on the bill in the US senate. i walked up and said éxcuse me, I just want to thankyou for what you are doing for the dogs in China, and also your LA rescue centre (she has brought dogs home from China)'' and She said 'thankyou so much for mentioning that, it means so much to me'' i guess most fans just want a selfie.

Ive met all the footy heroes ive wanted too! I have a hand written thankyou note from Bucks i treasure.

Right now it would probably be Ben Wilmore, Lindsay Adler, Meg Bitton, Ben because i want to be able to achieve anything i want with the photos i take and he is an adobe master, Lindsay because i love her style & attitude, and Meg for her **** you this is my art attitude. Basically people i want to learn from.

out of the stratosphere celebrities, no 1 will always be Bruce! Angelina, Oprah, Obama and Trump! now there is a dinner table!

im damn sure i will think of someone more worthy when im fast asleep tonight!!

I met Queen Sirikit of Thailand when I was 4. Met Joe Bugner who is a very entertaining man. Also met the great Weary Dunlop Possibly our greatest Australian. Lots of footballers, cricket players, jockeys , professional wrestlers (Dad was mates with Jack Little).professional golfers .

Would like to meet the next foreign minister to ask why they are stuffing around retired people in SE Asia.

Would like to do time travel and go back and meet and have a passionate affair with Wendy James of Transvision Vamp. when she was in her prime. Maybe throw Susannah Hoffs in as a 3 some. I would need a photographer.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

Noam Chomsky, although he would probably tell me that my questions are “trivial”.

Also, while we’re on old philosophers, Peter Singer and Slavoj Zizek would be fascinating to talk to.

Oh, and Julian Assange, maybe?

Donald Trump, Joe Rogan and Milo Yiannopoulos. Wouldn't mind an evening over a nice scotch with Andrew Bolt too.

Having thought about it, I'd love to have a beer and chat with Hoges (Paul Hogan), Elon Musk and if I could do time travel, Einstein.
