Well finally!!! AFL 360 just opened the program with the highlight of Pendles' brilliant manoeuvre and goal, then proceeded to speak glowingly of it and Pendles'. Maybe a day late (because of a certain Richmond player's mark hogging the limelight), but very gratifying to see Pendles' amazing moves acknowledged. :)

His last month has been “ improved “, albeit off a very low base.
You need mature bodies against the Swans, particularly on their small ground.
He’s a certainty.
Thought he was okay against Pauperoos.
Seemed to have a couple of score involvements, and laid a few good tackles.
He stays in this week for sure.

Agreed, Dyso. JT has impressed me of late, despite what all the naysayers on here would have us believe.

Yep, sure he looks like he is trying to run through quicksand at times, BUT... the effort is there.
I'm confident he will get more of the pill by hand and foot in the weeks to follow. For those players that work hard across all teams in the AFL, the wheel generally turns for them as the season progresses...

3. How can a player who has played as many games as Grundy not understand if you can’t mark it (or at least attempt to) you job is to spoil it ?

I'm glad someone else has noticed this.

It's painful to see it happen over and over again. Does he even know how to spoil?

It's damning on development coaches, non-devo coaches, and player.

^ Yep, noticed this also.
I wonder if it was a one off, because it's never been so obvious as this game? Will be interesting to see if it continues today.

No, PPie, it's not a one-off. Was gonna make a comment in the Grundy thread after the Anzac Day match. Didn't get round to it. Will post about it eventually.
