In times of scary world events, pandemics and even terrorist threats, people tend to stick with the devil they know, like hugging toy bears when stressed.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

There is ample raw material to work with, the trick will be not just harnessing support of those dislike Andrews methods and approach, but trying to chip of some of the rusted on who haven't yet been welded.

I expect more informal and independents unless Guy can present a compelling narrative.

Back to Dan's leadership.....
Premier Daniel Andrews has been secretly grilled by Victoria’s anti-corruption watchdog as part of an investigation that has found the Labor Party’s culture is rotten and encouraged the serious misuse of public resources.

The conclusions of Victoria’s Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission will shake not only state Labor but the federal opposition, given that several federal Labor MPs and shadow ministers are key players in the factions that IBAC has identified as unethical.

An official report, albeit preliminary, that says the culture of an organisation is rotten, is pretty damning.

Federal Labor tries to slam Morrison (correctly) for avoiding responsibility and shifting blame, he's an amateur compared to Teflon Dan.
