The three certainties of life:

1. Death.

2. Taxes.

3. Hawthorn forever being our bogey team.

We have been off for a few weeks. Yes the Port win was fabulous but could have gone either way
Centre clearances a real concern
I’m not sure if we can finish top 2 now but we just have to finish top 4 and then anything can happen
But yeah, terrible performance today. We have a bit of work to do that’s for sure
We a month to turn things around. Let’s hope they can

I am ok with these loses actually. Some really good stuff coming out of our younger players. I think our new game plan looks like producing some great results in the finals. In 2024 we will show some new form and surprise everyone. Very strong effort today in the ruck space. Bring on September!
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

It’s been coming for a long time.
The word cooked was used a lot in the game thread. It certainly seems that way right now.

No comment was my comment Donny. We are not worth wasting words on.

Have you had a look at who we play the next three weeks? Big trouble ahead.

At least now the media can stop calling us premiership favourites.

Unexpected result, honestly, after last week I was hoping for a bit more pressure.

They actually looked worse, no link run, one handed efforts at tackles. I can't count how many times we kicked to contests where Collingwood were 1 on two or 3.

Props to Hawthorn, came to play...bit too much hubris and relaxing because of ladder position.

The worry is the AFL season is a bit like the Melbourne Cup, you can steam out early ...but if you go too hard there is always the pack at the last corner coming into the straight at Flemington....that winner bursts clear late....I am starting to worry we might have been the early bolter who is getting caught.

This team has alot of work to do, good luck fly and team jesus you have to turn a fair bit around. The numbers since the mid-season bye, particularly from midfield and forward 50 ground ball are alarming.

Horribly disappointing, given what was at stake in this game.
Unable to lift in the last - similar to Carlton game, where our lift was anemic, now this where it didn't exist.
I am worried that mental and physical exhaustion is setting in.
Maybe rest Mitchell next week. And maybe Pendles as well.

Hopefully, Ginnivan plays well in VFL, because I see him as still in the mix for finals.
Unfortunately, our mids are looking spent.
I am worried that we have not looked after them enough.
Free Julian Assange!!

Spelling improved.
Vitriol was up
Attacking fellow posters down.
Insight to the game and opposition the usual low standard.
Overall, a solid contribution from all concerned.
