After the goal umpiring fiasco last weekend Sydney gets another win when defender Tom McCartin was let off his two match suspension by the AFL tribunal. Now get this. The Adelaide player has a depressed cheekbone fracture and the MRO gave McCartin a reasonable two weeks (remember DeGoey got three). But no, the AFL can't have Sydney without a real chance to go far in September, so McCartin gets off.
It happens every year. Sydney gets a dream run with fixtures and ruling etc. The AFL wants them there every year. What a corrupt joke the AFL is.
Sick of the Sydney concessions - McCartin cleared to play
