Ditto.
Absolute Collingwood hater. Hated us with a passion like no other… and I will leave it at that.

Was the "wunderkid" of the club in 1958 when we destroyed their dreams of a 4pete.

So were Jack Dyer, Ted Whitten and heaps of others but that’s all in the past and part of the game. I’m pretty certain that if I didn’t barrack for Collingwood, I would’ve hated their guts! So I have no problem paying my respects to them. May he RIP.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

I hope they name the Premiership cup in his honour. His legacy deserves it and it would really p1ss him off if Collingwood won the inaugural one.

No, thats going too far, by all means name a medal after him, but not the Cup. I respect him, but do not want his name on any Premiership cup we win, he hated Collingwood to the core of his very being. I dont forget. :o

Look, far be it for me to be critical of Barassi, but really, what the heck is Eddie everywhere doing as MC of his State Service, really ? Jeezus , Mcguire, Ron hated Collingwood's guts, he utterly loathed our club, he denigrated it at every opportunity, and broke our hearts so many times. Honestly Eddie, what the hell are you doing, I noticed when you brought up those disastrous Grand Final losses, against us, ones coached by him, especially 1970, and the losses to Melb in the 50s-60s, he played in, the MCC crowd roared with laughter, and made you look a right berk. Sorry Eddie, I am glad you have left the Magpies, we have only really kicked on after your tenure ended. Do what you must do to earn a quid now but dont embarrss our Club like that again.
