The Bangladesh captain just appealed for a run-out at the non-striker's end when the bowler didn't touch the ball, even though the bowler told Marsh he didn't touch it and called Marsh back. Strange, rather unsporting, stuff.

That was the highest ever successful run chase in a World Cup, apparently. They did it easily - as Ricky Ponting said, they didn't have to get out of second gear.

So much for Pakistan charging into the semis by crushing the Poms.

Chasing 338 to win, they lost a wicket, first ball, and another, the 3rd over.

David Willey has 2/10.

Pakistan all out for 244. So, NZ scrape into 4th spot with 5 wins. Their "prize" is to play India in their semi-final at Mumbai (Wankhede) on Wednesday at 7.30 pm AEDST. Australia's semi against South Africa is at Eden Gardens in Kolkata 24 hours later - and then the two winners travel for the Final in Ahmedabad at 7.30 pm on Sunday at 7.30 pm AEDST.
