I’m not sure if this young and inexperienced Windies team has the killer instinct to put their boots on the Aussie necks and keep them pushed down. They lack the full confidence and the total belief that they can win this match. The Aussies will win because they are scoring runs very very easily.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

That first innings declaration is starting to look even more like 2011 Collingwood hubris than it did on the night.

Shamar Joseph was an obvious stand-out but Smithy was excellent, with his 90 n.o.

So, BradSmith has a Test average of 97 opening and has carried his bat 1 from 2. Time to put that in the record books, move Green back to 12th man (he never looked secure in either innings) and go back to looking for an actual opener.

As for the dumb declaration - imagine if they had played with a little more care in that 9th-wicket partrnership and if they'd let Hazlewood come to the wicket. The last-wicket stand in the second innings was 16.

Not a coach's arsehole.
May as well put Malthouse or Buckley in the chair.

The most pissweak effort in living memory, considering the level of experience of the opposition.

The cull can start now, with both bat and ball.

What a bunch of over-rated narcissistic pie throwers this so called bowling attack is. Got EXACTLY what they deserved.

Tim Paine could sit on the sidelines and do a better job captaining than Cummins.

The GABBA is our fortress about as much as it was for the Bears in the 90s.

What's that now, 2 of the last 3 GABBA games pissed against the wall?
