Leppish should be defensive coach like last year
The change was arrogance that’s all
Why tinker with the winning formula
Fly is now coaching on his own hence he has run out of ideas and an actual plan

Yawn, the whiteants are out of the woodwork already. Gonna cut Fly any slack for us having the worst run of mass injuries, consistent injuries, this season, second only to the Tigers. ?? Now Checkers gone for season. Get real.

Some of you folks should set a personal rule not to post anything until the morning after

We lost a game, big deal. The players were off for large stretches, but that’s footy. It’s understandable to be disappointed but the carryon here is like a bunch of pre-teens watching Aus idol.

Agree, ridiculous. He’s been up and down but hasn’t had the cards to play.

Give yourself an uppercut if you think Fly is a bad coach all of a sudden.

McRae is a bad coach the same way Craig Bellamy, Bill Belichick and Alex Ferguson are bad coaches.

Sorry, this is a ridiculous post. Criticize him all you like for not selecting a few younger players at the start of the year, but given we won the premiership last year, he can be forgiven. Quoting Alan Jeans, players are like sausages. You can fry them, bake them or boil them. They’re still sausages. Our premiership success last year, disguises the fact that we have an aging list with few younger players coming on. Why? Because we ignored the national draft for too long and the players we drafted haven’t fulfilled our needs. Hine keeps saying we draft players who fit into our system. Hine should go and we start drafting players who happen to be good players and as a bonus they fit into our system. While on the national draft, it’s about time we drafted some tall forwards. Coming back to why we won the premiership last year, we have the best player in the competition (Nick Daicos), Scott Pendlebury wasn’t injured (unlike 2018), and our trades have been largely brilliant, and some of our rookie choices have been inspired (Mihocek).

To be fair was drinking before the loss… but yeah, not the best post this one.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
