Resting McStay makes good sense since he has just come back from a serious injury and he would have a few aches and pains after a few hard games. May as well rest Jamie as well as he seems a bit banged up after a hard and challenging season has affected his output.

Sounds like Allan will get a game, following a month of top form in the VFL. He, more than any of our other youngsters, is the one who could give our midfield a real boost next year.

^ I hope so. Allan deserves another chance at senior level considering his strong form in the VFL.
He's one of several players who we hope can make the grade and force their way into the senior side in 2025.

Last time we met Nick was tagged by Neal-Bullen and ended up with probably his worst game of the season, getting only 15 disposals (AF=62, SC=64). I think given all the grief Melbourne has been copping in the media, and with Neal-Bullen leaving at the end of the year, there is no reason to expect that they won't do it again. As we want to not only win this game but for Nick to get 3 votes in the process, how do we combat this?

Cue is in the rack, rest everyone with even minor niggles. Dreamons probably have more to play for to silence rumours of disharmony. I really hate the toffs but can't see us getting up for this dead rubber

I figure more in’s if as well as Dan McStay our Pendles gets rested. And with broken ribs since his 400 game

Would like to see McRae McInnes Allan and Demattia play. Out Bytel Long Pendlebury Sidey. We know about those four and likely Bytel and Long retained for depth.
Buon Giorno
Re: Pre-Match. Magpies v. Demons. All comments.
So should all of us go to the G tomorrow night in case it’s a farewell match for a few players?
Rest Pendles and anyone needing surgery/rehab. Even Sidey, Crisp, Howe if they’re playing on next year. Put it to the 20-25 year olds to show leadership in their absence and see who steps up.

Hoping to see Allan and Richards play full games. Allan has enormous potential and Richards needs a reminder of how good it is to play in front of the Magpie Army. Hopefully, our club will offer Richards more than another year, otherwise he'd be mad not to take a 4 yr contract from Port.
