No idea but I would be confident we front loaded last season. We had space for Stevens and then filled our cap. As mentioned, Burns joins Buckley as a vet. We could maneuver to get any player into our cap I would expect.

Need to verify Carr's status first. Reports are that although he has requested a trade to Freo, he still has a year to run on his current contract at Port. If a trade can't be agreed to, he wont be going into the PSD.

I'd take the deal if it were on the table.
O'Bree = excess baggage
Morrison = a handy pick up

I like that deal. O'Bree hasn't seemed to want to play this year and has looked flat. Morrison would be a huge improvement on O'B. Sadly, this is yet again probably BS.

Take Smith - there's no room for ottens. Or take Ottensand trade him next year
We wont get anyone great in the PSD, Carr will go before we can get near him and so will Ottens.

John Hook just announced that Smith is very close to re-signing with the Hawks. This was just announced on the AFL website.
Bad luck for us, Smith is off the table. Johnstone too, I think. Says something for trading early.

Morrison for O'Bree is still the right trade. Both need a fresh outlook at O'Bree, in a gun midfield, would not have his turn overs noticed as much.

If we get The Chad I dont think he will play anywhere except the HBF so Lonie can go to the wing.

Hmmm, is the only reason we are looking at picking up a gun (that we can fit into our salary cap) in the PSD because, no one is interested in any of our players as a trade!
It seems Presti, MCG, Rhyce, Williams have generated no interest O'B only mentioned speculatively as has been McKee.

There is not that much wrong with our list. People keep saying we have nothing to trade but somehow we managed to play in two grannies in a row only one season ago. sure 04 was a pig but there was reasons, all of which will be overcome. A little bit of rejigging the side and maybee a handy pickup or two and we will be back on track.

Saints set to shock by taking Whitnall as Roos trump rivals

Down the page:
Collingwood has fielded interest from Sydney and Hawthorn over midfielder Shane O'Bree who is contracted to the Magpies for another season.
The Collingwood club is showing keen interest in West Coast defender Chad Morrison, who is keen to return to Melbourne.

Spot on nuxta. Most clubs would rather take a third-string hack from Fremantle than a grand finalist from Collingwood, even though we have the equal youngest list in the comp. I think there's a fair bit of prejudice about Collingwood - i.e. some of the clubs probably will not trade with us, no matter what.

J26, apparently the Saints have gone cold on the whole Whitnall thing.

Nothing worse than a cold Big Mac.
