Maybe he'll be the sweetener to get the Heater/Adams deal done?

He needs to be given another opportunity.

IMHO we were crying out for a 2nd tall option to help Travis up forward this year. Seems to be a role that Paine has been groomed for yet, he wasn't able to get a run. That must ring alarm bells. Bells that are now deafening at the induction of Jessie White.
Still, let me remind you that he just turned 20.
I'd like to see him remain for 2014.

I think a straight swap for Karnezis could benefit both players and both clubs and is fair.
I wish those were grounds for it to actually happen

Definitely.
I'm hoping that's what we're planning to do.

Seems sensible if Roos interest in him is real. With Cloke, White, Reid etc, Paine is a long way back in the pecking order.

Today on Trade Radio, Terry Wallace suggested that Paine had been groomed as the 3rd tall and that he will play ahead of Lynch. I reckon that's inflating the boy's ability to be honest. I hope I'm wrong on Paine, but he doesn't look anything other than a fall-back option.
Maybe Matt and Jackson's mum were discussing diet issues or rehab timetables, but again, why would his mum be there for a chat with one of our recruiting staff?
BTW, if you'd like to hear the Wallace Collingwood list analysis I can send you a file if you have Dropbox.

Spot on

Dogs seem keen on getting some KPP's. Could we offer them Paine and pick 10 in exchange for pick 4? Pick 4+6 would be pretty great. I may be dreaming here but after we got pick 6 from weagles I couldn't rule anything out

^More like for our pick 6, rather than our pick 10
