Hartley is 198cms and 102kgs.- Could play Centre half back/Full back allowing Roughead to go forward and pinch hit in the ruck.

At 28 years of age, he would not cost a packet and may replace Roughead at the end of 2022 season...

There are a lot worse in the pool than Hartley.
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

Can we draft him in mid season draft

From memory he may have a shoulder problem. Need to check this first.

Be good to welcome him home. Will always wonder what he may have become as a player if all those early shoulder issues hadn't stifled his development.

"Christian is the standout from this year and I've known Christian for a long time and he just took his game to a whole new level, which was really exciting to see and it was great to watch him do that. That's definitely something I want to do."

Not blunder more like poorly worded

Not our consolidated backline. I’d say make ups for injuries except Noble who has been regular back line

Happy to disagree. Let go a lot of senior experience last year and replaced them all with kids. Lose further senior experience this year. Need to retain some mature bodies. Madge showed toward the end of this year that at a minimum he’ll be solid and durable defensive depth.

Madge ain’t no champ but what he is is one committed 105 % footballer

Put his G & D into say JDG Now that would be something

Yes he makes errors. So do others but he cops the blowtorch

Can’t have all natural champs out there

From the article, I think Hartley will be a VFL signing only.

One question I have is, how many list spots do we have to fill? Including rookie spots (Faye).

I'd like to think we'll have a chat to Brander, but am also thinking about list spots for the ND/RD.
