Think Geelong will beat them comfortably.

We were supposed to beat them comfortably.

^We don't do things easily. And then when we do things the hard way, Nicksters claim our oppo "would have beaten any other team", "were playing their GF", etc. This despite e.g. WB losing 4 games in a row including our game, WC being smashed before (not immediately before) and after playing us, etc.

I think everyone will beat them comfortably (except, maybe, Carlton). They’re 1 and 3 since Daniher came back. I bet they’re glad they “managed” him for the Swans’ game.

It's like every team we play loses multiple games before and after playing us, but Nicksters still insist "they would have beaten any other team", "they are premiership favourites" (no, we are), etc. There's no need for panic at all, but why do Nicksters have to believe things that are clearly not true to feel happy about how we're going?

I don't know. I am perfectly sanguine about where we are at. We are 8 players short of a team of AFL-standard players. Still, we are mostly winning, so it's mostly fun.

I guess it goes to show you cant judge too harshly too early on.
In saying that their wins have come against Melbourne, Brisbane and the Kangaroos. Two of those teams occupy the bottom 2.
I honestly feel that Collingwood should have put them away. We were all over them and didnt put it on the scoreboard. Were we the better side? We we just lucky? I think our own mistakes and lack of converting goals kept them in it.
So we'll see how they respond and if they can make the 8.
Here's their next 4:
Vs Cats (MCG)
Vs Swans (SCG)
Vs Freo (Marvel)
Vs Rich (MCG)
We play them again in round 23, and you never know, we might see them again not long after that.
Personally, I hope they go back to their round 1 form.
Whatever it takes!!!
May they rot til the last doper is gone

8? You're a hard marker, p4s.

Greenwood, Mihocek, Mayne, Roughead, Thomas, Wills, Reid. That's 7. It becomes 8 when Beams comes back in - I know he replaces one of the seven but he's so bad he counts as 2.

Fair enough. Probably not a lot to argue with there.

Unbelievable that a team that has been beaten by 72, 58, 59 and 104 points during the season is in the 8

We're living through a weak era of football, which started in 2016.

I know Essendon have had an extremely bad run with the injuries, but they dont deserve to play finals.
Scrapping past the Suns, North and a few others in recent weeks has given them enough wins to be in for now.
I think Freo and Collingwood will be able to take care of them and they'll miss out.
Lord have mercy if they knock us off.

Essendon's form at the moment is special - apart from the bottom 4 teams, they are the only side in the AFL to have lost the last two games.
