Well,so much for ground breaking news on 7,what a fiasco.Cousins gave us bugger all, very cagey about which club,we have a way to go on this one for sure.Disapointing to say the least, pumped up bullshit to get us to watch their coverage-we should have known better by now!!!

Lol why do we listen to the media. I will not believe Cousins is a collingwood player until he puts the jumper on.

Talk about beating up a story.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of experts on this site who are privy to the most extraordinary information, but as witnessed today with Ben Cousins who informed everybody that he can't make a decision for at least another six weeks, it seems that maybe there are some here who just extol bs. Or is it that they have a crystal ball and if this is the case then they should return them to their place of purchase as they are just not working.

To think that I as well as many others had our hopes up.

As a previous poster said " I will believe it when and if he pulls the jumper on".Lets hope he does.

For what it's worth...
BEN Cousins has been secretly investigated by Collingwood, which plans to offer him an AFL lifeline.

The club sent a Melbourne-based private investigator to Perth late last month to follow Cousins for several days.

The investigator surveyed Cousins' social behaviour and the company he has been keeping.

The comprehensive investigation included interviews with some WA police heavyweights, some of his closest confidants and former teammates.

It is believed the outcome was a highly encouraging report that was presented to Pies management on the eve of this month's finals series.

The PI is a former Victorian detective highly competent in delicate investigative procedures.

Isn't it obvious? Ben will choose Hawthorn.

5 of those who played yesterday were named on that 'non-existent' document that was leaked not so long ago.

They obviously have an excellent rehab program in place.

LOL Dale.

But we've got caring Mick - the players' "grandfather".

And DTM after the non-announcement yesterday you can virtually put a line through Cousins coming to Collingwood. Yet again we failed to deliver a big fish.

We have to grow our own at Collingwood, hey Dale, but we don't smoke it. That's the problem.

^ Everyone Mr Oswald, but if you want one name - Chris Judd!

On Cousins, the story this morning headlined, "Collingwood spies track Ben Cousins" (nice one Moral Eddie) makes it absolutely 100% certain he WON'T choose to come to us. Why would he?

I believe we may have questioned friends/associates etc, but I have serious doubts we had a bloke follow him around under cover. The article was over sensationalized.

Well I think we all knew it was never going to happen but there has been a lot of talk over in the west that the eagles were in talks to get Cousins back to the eagles.

Confirmed now that it isnt going to happen so theres at least one club out of the way.

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 01,00.html

West Coast fans have said they would like Cousins to play again for the club, but Eagles chairman Mark Barnaba said the club and Cousins had already agreed that the player would be better served by making a fresh start at another club.

Another rumour I have heard, which has come from Crackers Keenan last night...apparently Cousins does want to be a Magpie, and was going to announce it, but supposedly the AFL told him if he did announce it Saturday he would not have gotten registered.

Apparently Seven wanted the exclusive but they didn't get jack, I'm not sure where it was said I was told this morning it was on last night apparently.
