Back then, Queen Victoria was still on the throne, Australia as a country didn't exist and John Wren was turning a quid out the back of his tobacco shop...

Fair to say, it's been a while between drinks...

Really? As a forward he has played 5 games and kicked goals in (I think) only 1 of them. If his name was Jesse White he would be a whipping boy with those performances.

I am sure he will be good in the future Dave, but until we are mathematically out of the race I think we should be picking the best team and, at least in my mind, he isn't in our best 22 yet.
If you had actually watched the VFL game today, you wouldn't think White was in our best 22.
He isn't in my best 22. The above changes still have White in the VFL.

Brilliant win. Loved the way the lads applied themselves. Bucks nailed the game plan. We march to september from here now. We are a genuine threat to the final eight. I reckon we will make it. Stay positive. And to the female Carlton fan who abused my wife I hope you enjoy the loss you foul old goat.

Food prices were up again. Mens toilets were overflowing with poo. Thanks for treating the fans with respect AFL.

Also noticed the fat corporate types gouging themselves again with beer and food. Wankers!
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

2017 could be the year. Win the next 4 and we will lead the head-to-head against the Scum.

Where did Varcoe vanish after he gave away Fasolo's 5th goal, and slaughtered our momentum in the 3rd quarter?
Was it really such a great win?
Defeating Carlton minus Judd and Gibbs, by three goals.
Hope we get Yarran in 2016.
Wish I could say it gives me confidence going into next week, but nah...

Buckley's coaching career was three goals away from oblivion.
We lose that game today against just about anyone else outside Brisbane and get flogged by anyone decent.

Ugly a win as you'll ever see.

We beat the dirty pig scum bastards. Doesn't matter how we did it only that we did it. Wasn't pretty to watch and we were sloppy at times but came away with the four points after 6 long weeks of misery so I'll take it. Adams is hurt (quad) and will likely be replaced next week. From what I saw we looked slack not only in defending but also in clearing the ball from defense, but this has been our problem all year. Anyway we won and the scum didn't. Fas and Reid up forward were great. Ok return from Elliott. Swan racked up a few and how could was Marsh. Loved the song at the end in the rooms. Go Pies. F*** you scum!!!

Very average game to watch. The decision making of the players was deplorable which made it only slightly better than that of the umpires.

Positives

1. We beat Carlton

2. Reid got through the game uninjured and really provided a target. If we can get him and cloke together in the forward line for an extended period, we'll do some damage.

3. Fasolo. Love this kid, with him and Elliot we have two real class small forwards who can do the lot

4. Marsh first game. Got better for mine as the game went on and his nerves settled

5. We beat carlton.

Ordinary game to watch-

good to see sinkers back- takes the game on and moves FORWARD!!
Marsh did some very impressive things- play him for the rest of the year- he is the future.
Toovey played his best game for the year.

Fas was brilliant- without him we would have lost.
Good to see Reid did not break in half.

Pendles and Swanny were amazing.

Scharenberg will be unbelievable

Numbers. Stop looking at the numbers.
The boy can play.

How many times out of 10 does White take that mark on the lead at full pace and at full stretch under physical pressure from his opponent, like Moore did?? I'll give you the answer 0/10.

Liked Marshy, hes gonna be a bewdy. Like to see what he can do up forward.

For mine Moore out for Clokey if hes ready, not that I thought Moore wasnt anygood, just Clokey is the obvious in.

I'd be stickin with the other youngins, were not playing finals so give em some experience.

Need a mid field type as a sub not Scharenburg, give him a full game.

Ugly game of footy. We won and we got $1.60 at quarter time. The local bookmaker hates us. Reid and Sinks got through and that's made me happy.

Fairly hollow win.

Has Dylan Buckley got the most kickable head in the history of the game?
