Doesn't sound as if he's thinking of walking away :wink:.

Pretty harsh set of rules he has to abide by. FFS, Ben has never tested positive by the AFL testing procedure. What about the seven (now six) players from the same club who are on two strikes. They should be the one's who have stringent rules, not Ben.

you've gotta wonder what's going through a person's mind who turns up for a hair follicle test with a full body wax and shaved head.

Sure i'm innocent!

Maybe I missed something, but where exactly was it reported that he was fully waxed? I get that he shaved his head, as do alot of footballers in Summer. But is the waxing a fact or rumour?

Aside from my head I wouldn't have any hair longer than 3 centimetres on my body either. I wouldn't have thought it'd be too uncommon.

Was listening this morning to KB on SEN and he was talking to (god i hate it when i forget things!!) journalist who stated it was reported in the Herald Sun. (when i remember his name, i'll edit this post).

Ahhhh journo in question was Patrick Smith (yeah yeah, i know he's full of crap most of the time)

IF FORMER West Coast captain Ben Cousins turns up to work with a shaved head it is likely his football career will be over...for good.

The West Australian reports that the AFL has told the ex-Eagle that he must have "sufficient hair to comply with future drug tests or risk a suspension that will almost certainly end his football career".

The report says "Cousins raised eyebrows earlier this month when he presented for a urine and hair test sporting a close-cropped haircut and having had other parts of his body waxed".

I'll say this, I am glad we aren't going after him now and I reckon our decision will be villified in due course.

To show up for a drug hair test with your hair now a buzz cut (for the first time in his life) and no hair on his body at least 2cm in length is mighty sus. Hair tests show drugs in your system for some months so really why are we all suprised by this. the guy is destined to fail and quite frankly it wont be linked to us. We don't need him or the publicity that will come from it.

I've heard a few rumours going around that a certain AFL player has in fact tested positive 3 times and the AFL have done nothing about it. At first, everyone thought it was only 2 strikes, but apparently he has been caught 3 times now.

I will not say his name because of obvious legal ramifications....all i will say is that a <snip> of mine told me this. <snip> you should be able to work it out for yourselves

<Clever, but wouldn't save us - the Mods>

It is interesting how buzz cuts have suddenly become popular with footballers since hair testing has been discussed.

First Cousins, and now Fev, I wonder how many more will follow........

Maybe fev is one of the guys on 2 strikes who knows.
