You're loyal to Buckley, I'm loyal to Collingwood.
:? More like the white flag Surrender Defender. !
So if he was a German in Germany in 1939 and didn't support Hitler 100% then you'd consider him disloyal right? Obviously the idea that you can be completely loyal to an entity but disagree with the appointment of a person within the structure of that entity escapes you. Funny that, considering you used that as a cover during your days white-anting Malthouse...

So is it confirmed Beams was at a pub in Kew the night of the copeland or was it just a rumour?

Hard to disagree that most of us are bloody loyal to Collingwood.
You're loyal to Buckley, I'm loyal to Collingwood.
So when you lose you try to put words in other posters' mouths!!

I'm, and have been for a very long time, loyal to Collingwood. This obviously includes it's coach, players and administration.

It's people like you who were responsible for our 1995-2000 period, you're not a patriot of Collingwood Lazza, you're a clueless fan boy.

I'm willing to put the club ahead of the current coach-board, that's because I'm a true Collingwood patriot, the club is bigger than any past or present regimes.

Gee, that's brilliant rhetoric! He has you there Lazza, I guess you'll go home a shattered shell of a man!
The fact is, it isn't really possible to be loyal to the players AND the coach, it's one or the other. I have always, and will always be loyal to the players, they're the ones I paid my money to go and watch every week, and when I think of Collingwood I think of the great names, not the great staff or CEOs. Beams had a great ostensible reason to leave, how many more would we lose if they had similar reasons?
And how were people like Lazza responsible for '95-2000? Wasn't that the period when we stuck with an ex club champion and Captain as coach? Wasn't that when we gave him a fourth year despite a lack of success? Now what did that get us? Let me think?

Go ahead, that most of that list was garnered from the but not lamented Albert Goldmans total hatchet job of a biography, try to think.
