BRAD Ottens' wish to become a Cat is expected to be granted by today's trade deadline.
A complicated deal that would send the Richmond big man to Geelong has been agreed to in principle.
It is understood the last piece of the Ottens' deal hinges on young Geelong midfielder Brent Moloney agreeing to move to Melbourne.
The Cats would receive the Demons' No. 12 national draft pick in exchange for Moloney and, in turn, send that selection and No. 16 to Richmond.
