Free kicks

Today's Herald Sun shows the free kicks stats for the year so far and has exposed some intereting anomolies.

Collingwood are second last on the free kicks for table with 362. Only Sydney have fared worse with 360. Footscray are on top with 412.

Interestingly enough, Collingwood and the Swans are also second last and last respectively in the frees against category with 334 and 336. Essendon are highest with 426.

These figures seem very suss to me.

But cop this one....We have not won a holding the ball decision inside our attacking 50m all season!

Umpires suck, have always sucked and always will suck. End.

These figures don't completely surprise me. It's probably because we don't resort to soccer 'acting' tactics like say Essendon's Moorcroft or Carlton's De Ulio to play for a free!
