There should be a medal awarded to the most courages player in the Collingwood vs Richmond Game

Ummmm I'm not sure, we have to many medals and trophies as it is. I remember reading a few months back about this topic, about making medals and trophies for things like this. In about 80 years time, hell lets just have a medal for every player that played footy. Im sorry but I think this should not happen. I dont want to be disrespectful about this but I REALLY don't think we should have a medal. for a player that only played something like 12 or 19 games under the Collingwood banner.

With no disrespect intended to the recently departed Jamie Tape, but I've had enough of these medals and trophies concocted to seemingly give a bit of extra value to a match.
It started originally with the Peter MacCallum (cs) Trophy between Collingwood and Carlton, and that was fine, but by orchestrating all these others you're just cheapening the real causes and detracting from the very real exposure they deserve.
Finally, significantly, there are others who were more important servants to each Club - somebody already mentioned Tommy Hafey, and then there's David Cloke, who was a champion for both Clubs. I'm sure there are others.
