Bendigo is a great stepping stone to the city. I will also have something on Kinky Boom in the blue Diamond. Girlfriends name is Boom. Worked a treat in the Caulfield Cup.

Bloody hell. Think positive couldn;t get a run. Should have easily run a place. Jockey put him in a good spot but a heap of horses tiring kept taking the running whilst the leader bolted. Won;t be that price again. Another leader biased track at caulfield. Why do they keep going it on big race days.

Well, with my pockets full, I may have a little dabble today.

The babies race in the first at Ascot and I'm on Super Stardom. She's improved at each of her 3 trials and whilst the last one was only over 400m, I like the way she travelled. A good e/w chance.

Race 5 is the Challenge Stakes, Listed Race for 3yo.

I really like Showcase in this. Keeps on improving and her last win was dominant. Willie Pike on board seals it for me.

The lucky last I'm backing Candlelight Star.

A mixed bag... the 1st one was scratched, Showcase ran into a dead end twice in the straight and was a certainty beaten.

Candlelight Star kept me in business, running 3rd at $4 for a place.

WINX is something special isn't she!

Winx beat nothing at that distance but she is a freak. I wish they had of taken her overseas 2 years ago. If she was mine I would win a couple in Sydney then win the Cox plate and retire her.

The amazing thing is that over the last decade or so the best racehorses have been female in her , Black caviar, Maykbe Diva and Sunline (who unluckily had Northerly running around against her) Even pinker Pinker snuck in a Cox plate win and jameka a caulfield Cup. Maybe the best male colts are being shunted off to stud early.

I stayed out today and may have done all right with Dixie Blossoms but probably would have lost.

Yes, pretty special those 2.
I was looking at their sectional times, geez they are in a league of their own! Black Caviar exceeding 70 k/ph through some 200m sections... that's just freakish!
