If North or any team for that matter plays a PRESS game they have a chance.
Quick handball or silky foot skills helps a little but is not the answer.
The only way you can beat a Press is to Press yourself... _________________ COLLINGW09D |

Big_Jolz and I have got President's Lunch tickets for this one. Can't wait. Free lunch, bottomless free piss and a complimentary 10 goal smacking. Sunday, Happy Sunday!
I can be a fairly nervous supporter, but North does not worry me one bit. Let's just get comfortably through this without injury, ready for The Scum. _________________ "Oh look, Essendon is a really good side, but SO IS WE" - Anthony Rocca, 2004. |

With Dawes out it is imperative that we get Didak back as soon as possible. I doubt that'll happen this week, but I'd love to see Dids back and revved up against the Scum. |

Post subject: Play Tarrant Forward this week - he will kick 10 | |
|
Time to rewind the clock.
Would love to see Taz as a forward this week, deep down i rekon he would absolutely love the opportunity.
Alot want Keefe in this week which is understandable, but i think its equaly important to trial a few setups.
Serious we are goin to win by 50+, North have only one good forward in Petrie, im sure Maxwell, Leon, Reid, Shaw etc can handle him. There only other forward is Thompson and he cant kick to save his life.
Bring Sack in as a defender and Keefe as a sub.
Tarrant is our leading goal kicker and could be a real headacheto the opposition if he can still bag a few. _________________ "Only in the mirror will you see who I realy am"

He probably will, MO2, and that's a good replacement for Dawes, as Dawes usually kicks a goal or two - call it ten points on average. But I reckon Tarrant playing out of the square could actually kick it a bit straighter than you do, so instead of 0.10.10 I think he could go 5.5.35.
But he won't play out of the square. Cloke and Brown will do most of that; Tarrant wil play half forward a lot and rotate up to the sticks from time to time. I'm expecting him to team brilliantly with Cloke, and looking to see Taz boot two or three, Leigh Brown a couple, and Cloke a lazy six. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

whats the point in playing him forward, we will win this game and win enough games to make the 4. I see no point in playing him forward |

I would be more than happy to see Tazza get six snags. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Hmmm I'm not so sure. He's finally bedded in as a dependable defender, getting an understanding of our back setups. Prefer to keep him there to keep in synch for the business end of the season. Macaffer up forward. _________________ - "Number 42? I see you've got Darren Millane in the Heaven footy side"

Must not take them lightly and really smack them! Tarrant to stay down back, he is too important to what we have set up. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

A poster on Bigfooty went to training today and noted that Keefe was training as a forward, so it looks like Keefe will play forward.
I reckon Keefe, Macaffer and BJ may get a run this week. |

I fear for North this week. Could be a bloody massacre, put them back 25 years in development.
Apart from Thompson their defense is crap. Apart from Petrie their forward line is crap. Apart from Boomer their midfield is crap. Goldstein is a quality ruckman.
We will have them cooked half way into the second then in for tea and scones. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.
