What you hear a coach say via the media is usually just 'stating the bleeding obvious' anyway. |
Yes, the bit shown on footy classified revealed the absolute state secret that when Quentin Lynch gets the ball he is to kick it long into the forward line & that he should always do this.

And how many premierships did Nathan Buckley win?
I'm just saying that if you call Eade a loser, then you must absolute greats like Tony Lockett, Gary Ablett, Nathan Buckley and Robert Harvey losers too.
Eade was the first coach to take Sydney to a Grand Final.
Eade was the coach that got the Dogs closer to a flag then they'd been for almost 50 years.
He is the perfect assistant for Bucks IMO. |

As much as I agree with your post, I think it's a wasted argument, Eade and Buckley are the early scapegoats for anything negative this season. _________________ avg

I don't think Eade will cop it much, he might from us as supporters as he's an easier target then Bucks, a club champion, but it's pretty clear the press will target Buckley at the first sign of weakness.
Imagine if we lost this week, the press would be unbearable. |

I agree, and it was the fans I was referring to.

I actually don't think that any coaches, players or club officials should work in the media, while they are employed by their clubs. |

Oh hell, we've got Robert Harvey on board as well.
The issue is whether as a senior coach he's won a flag. And Eade's had plenty of tries and failed. I just think the role Eade occupies is silly. Mick was right about that, and that's why he walked. |
