No.
In the Digital Age, with smartphones and tablets in every hip pocket or backpack, with the Internet just a keystroke away, and with the popularity of fantasy football, there is simply no excuse for not knowing the names of your own players. Or the opposition's for that matter.
Of course, if you're not a fanatic and need just a little bit of a refresher on who wears what, you could just buy the Record and keep track that way... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Follow the game or don't. We don't need to make it easier for the try hards. |
Me too. And Tannin is right. This is all about TV.
P.S. Brian Taylor will still call the wrong names out, you can be sure of that. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

One of the commentators called Beams Elliot during yesterday's telecast...... Think it was the sleeve, ha ha. _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

If they are going to go ahead with these names they should make them more noticeable, even close up you could not read who the North Melbourne players where. It just seemed they were way too small and with the game so fast paced I didn't really notice they had the names on there just seemed like an extra colour on the back of the jumper.
Do it during the NAB Cup, and leave it there. _________________ Ðavâgé

Now that I've seen them for myself, I can't see any harm at all in them, and some very small good. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |
