It's not pre-season any more, and our injury situation is terrible.

Wouldn't trade it for last seasons.

Got full Faith that Faz can re discover his best form, once he gets a number of games and full fitness in to him, he can be an x-factor for us once again

Yeah, not good. Apart from Freeman, Reid, White, Oxley and Broomhead though the remainder are carryover from 2013.

The Williams, Reid, and White ones really hurt. Yeah I know Williams isn't injured but I've included him in that group anyway.

Our biggest problem is that we have a core group of 12-15 senior players but it then falls away to a group of 20 odd kids who are trying to establish careers. I'm not knocking the kids, just stating the reality.

Injuries to that core group which the 3 listed above are, even though Williams is still just learning the caper, are more difficult to carry than injuries to the kids. The other issue for us with the loss of Shaw, Thomas, and Johnson is that quite a few of the injured are the defensive options we need to develop to take their places (Scharenberg, Broomhead, Oxley, Williams).

I see a player in Faz!
It's hard to remember now, seems like an eternity since he played regular senior footy, but he initially impressed me with his skills & smarts. I think he needs to be let off the leash a little more in the forward line. In his more recent games to me at least, it seemed as though he was given instructions to work on his defensive game, which is great, except I thought he was chasing tail at the expense of creating.

He's BACK folks...and I like what I see. sublime foot skills, but the biggy for me is his desire. Looks like he is hungry for the ball and not just intent on doing the "special"things. Putting him back in defence, may have just saved his career at Pieland. Love to see him have spells in the middle too! Welcome back Faz! Smile

Bucks should be applauded for moving the Faz to defence. Even if he eventually comes back as a forward, he is becoming a much more all rounded footballer thanks to the vision of Bucks. Well done coach.

Loved his game and let that pisshead Robbo know on twitter that it was a bad call to dislike him in the tackle, because he made a few mistakes. It was his first game back in 12 months and in a new position. Reckon you would give a bloke a few weeks grace before bagging him.
