Post subject: Who forgot the floggers and flags???? | |
|
We had a pretty decent crack at making some noise on the hill, but the poor buggers in the Cheer Squad were pretty much invisible all night.
Someone forgot the gear. What's going on there???? _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Watching on tv last night was so unusual to see such little cwood fans behind a goal. We are known for our support and numbers at interstate games and geez it's dropped off big time lately.
Port power in the final last year at the mcg have taken supporting for your team on the road to a new level... They were amazing and they have left us a long way behind.
Noise levels and intimidation at games as a whole has slowed right down in recent seasons except Anzac Day this year.
We need to reinvent our support in a way port and freo have done at their games. _________________ Collingwood = Everything Carlton dream to be. |

We used to have a cheer squad before the suits running the club took away access to it from the average fan. The cost is out of reach for most. The idea to take the banner making away from the cheer squad was another nail in the coffin. _________________ woodsmen rule |

I would think behaving like those Adelaide bogans at the MCG would get you thrown out by the theatre goers. The football world was loving their passion, but the MCG is a cultured place for watching our marvellous game, what. Tally ho! _________________ Get back on top. |

This is a good question. The cheersquad used to stand out. They no longer do.
The club have stuffed this one up and need to rectify the situation. |

80000 members. Most expensive membership. Richest club. Worst cheer squad. New home not supporter friendly. Crap. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Eddie thinks he's a one man cheer squad doesn't he? Well I guess he eats as much as 50 Joffas! _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

No joke, at he Carlton game, I was standing on the wing with a few blokes, and we were having a good old laugh at the expense of Robinson, Murphy and Carlton in General, and this guy turns around a sitting a few rows in front and says: "Can't you just cheer for your team? Is it necessary to bag the opposition?" I was stubbed! Suffice to say, we all laughed at him in unison. Did I miss the memo that said be nice at the footy? WTF is going on here? _________________ Est. 2002 |

Excuse me yarrafallsend... if the S.A. mgpies had floggers flags and the like... they should've delivered them to the ground and not drinking in some pub.... Our c/squad who was there (don't forget it was a Thursday game... ppl DO have to work.. we are NOT millionaires)... most fly over have no access to a car don't know where or who has the equipment or where it is in SA and you say that no one wanted to pick them up??? shouldn't it have been the responsibility of whoever had them?? think about it!..... GIVE THE C/SQUAD BACK TO THE C/SQUAD..... The Club has a lot to answer for this.... It was a disgrace..... (Im off the soapbox now!) _________________ ....Collingwood Forever....
