I much prefer Keefe (yes had a shocker last week but will be better for it) and Frost coming through. |
Do you need me to hold him while you give him a kicking? |

Bad luck for Brown but as soon as he went off you suspected that he might have done the shoulder injury again. Hopefully he can come back and avoid our poor track record of rehabilitating chronic shoulder injuries like Dick and Rusling. _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |

This is a big loss.
Struggle to understand those who don't realise it.
What he was good at, what we don't have any other defenders that do it and what caused this injury is crashing packs to effect a spoil.
He is much smarter than most think and wins more one on ones than he looses.
His loss hurts the Reid flexibility factor.
Really feel for him. Hard working reliable defenders do not grow on trees. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

You will get a kicking for this Seth, but I agree (now we shall share the kicking)
Pretty much useless against modern forwards (quick & leading) but has a place against older stay at home forwards like J.Brown and D.Petrie who use their bulk.
Keeffe and Frost are just too raw at this stage to take on the bigger blokes.
Target Frawley to replace. |

Yup. Those stay at home forwards like Reiwold and .......oh, wait.
Was browny able to beat a bloke that was perhaps the most mobile hard running chf in his prime ?
Still is way past his prime at 25. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

Your talking 4 years ago MJ - since then he has slowed considerably and his chalk like shoulders are going to be a liability from here on. |

I do think we now have to seriously look at Frawley or someone else suitable for a key defensive role especially so if we want Reid forward. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Not for $800k we don't. We are out a KD this year regardless. Rambo will be right to go for next preseason, so it's safe to assume his shoulder should be fine to go in 2015 and return better than before. Unless we can get Frawley for a lot less, I hope we don't go for it. Would rather make a serious play for Danger |

I agree, don't see how our need is any greater. Rambo back next season and still got Reid as back up. |

Would have been handy as a trade option to GWS but that's no longer viable. _________________ kill for collingwood! |
