Blair is as safe as churches and Dwyer would benefit from another run in the ones, although I would love to get a look at Broomhead. _________________ Genesis 1:1 |

Danger game this week I mean it totally.
I can see 4 or 5 of our players getting leather poisoning after this game from having it too much.
Ins and outs won't be major this week.
A great chance for Trav to hit some form as they don't have anyone capable of going with him and his body strength.
Only thing is the 6 day break but we weren't punished physically on Monday so we shouldn't have to many sore bodies.
Think Bucks and the match committee will take the opportunity to mix it up a. It giving some fringe players different roles to push claims for the week after.
The dogs have been under the pump the past couple of weeks from the media do they will come out firing and try to do a Melbourne on us.
Thing is they are very low on talent and skill.
Hope we turn up ready to make a statement before taking aim at the hawks.
Pies by 40 - 50 and no injuries would be w perfect result IMO |

I think there is a good chance we will see Broomhead debut in this one, the Bulldogs lack pace and Bucks will be keen to exploit that by adding his speed, and we have only blooded one first gamer in Langdon, this is a chance to have a good look at him and add to the list depth against a team that is really starting to struggle. _________________ In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away |

Maybe two changes at the most:
Broomhead and White for Fasolo and Witts
Wittsy might need a rest, that way White / Grundy can go up against Minson.
Fas has been hit and miss so run him in the twos and give Broomhead a crack at it.
Loving Seedsman / Young / Williams / H running off half back. We have a lot of pace there and pretty decent foot skills to hit our leading targets. Will only get better when we have Cloke, White and Reid all presenting as options.
Another team playing their grand final this week so we need to stay focused and get the job done.

Beware the wounded palooka.
This mob, like Rocky, are trying to prove they are not a bum...
Unlike rocky, they are.
The question is, why don't they do it against Hawthorn, or Geelong, or Fremantle... |

Totally agree... I think we can give Thomas another go along with Dwyer to string a few games together. _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

I don't care what team it is but why are we facing yet another backs to the wall team, do it for the club etc.
This will be a lot closer than I would have liked because of the location, the backs to the wall, the coach taking responsibility leading the way for the team to galvanise. I was hoping for a % booster but it's not likely to pan out that way methinks. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Can't believe how under rated the Doggies are by posters thus far, they've stockpiled some serious talent over the last few drafts and have some top shelf talent among their older players. Yes, the cupboard is a little bare between those groups but I still wouldn't be underestimating them.
Can't foresee too many changes this week. Fasolo appears to be the guy most at risk of being omitted. Dwyer was as fumbly as I can ever recall but ultimately he's normally very assured with his ball handling so should be better for the run. Hard to identify anyone beyond that.
Starting to get a bit of a queue of replacements. White, Kennedy, Broomhead, and Martin would all be considered. Not sure why Adams missed Saturday and Monday but he'd also be in the picture if fit. |

^ they are also getting repeat inside 50s just not converting. Their midfield is working hard just getting let down up forward. This could be turned around in a one off game.
I think Witts might get a rest with White coming back in. Not form related just a rest.
I think we need another gut runner as we missed sidey on Monday.
Ball will start on the ground you'd think.
Kennedy or adams should come in for Dwyer or fasolo.
Broomhead could also be a smokey.
Would think after Monday though Blair is as safe as houses. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

C'mon Dave, you can do better than this.
The OUT: <player I don't rate irrespective of how well they played> IN: <player I love irrespective of likelihood> is getting tiresome.
And you can't have 3 ins if you can't identify 3 valid and reasonable outs.
White is an obvious inclusion but hard to say if it will be at the expense of Fasolo or one of Witts or Grundy.
Adams didn't play either AFL or VFL on the weekend so his availability might be questionable.
I think Broomhead is knocking on the door and I'd love to see him debut, just hard to nominate a player who should be excluded.
And I don't buy the "rest player X" suggestions. Maybe something you do round 23 when you're certain of the finals the following week but not mid season, and certainly not when Bucks has said we'll play our best available team every week. |
