Yeah, it wasn't a shock, but jayzuz, the guy put in every week without getting a call up. Coulda been different, and PS: Is it smart to be delisting guys when the VFL side is about to play finals??? _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

Disappointing. Thought Yags was starting to show some consistent performances in the VFL, often playing as a psuedo KPP because we were light on for alternatives. Reality of limited lists, pressure comes back onto the players to make it, particularly for the more generic 175-190 utility types. |

like you said, this year he was asked to extend himself by playing as a kpp tall. i thought he did reasonably well and was hopeful he would get another year. really needed to excel this year to have a chance of extending his career with us.
is a real character and enjoyed a few laughs with him this year. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Does anyone want to break the news? I'm not sure if I can do it.

I guess he wasn't at the game then? Didn't even look up the results? |

Why would you need to? 35forever has the best football brain on this forum and knows more about football than all of us, he has said so himself. |

Nick Pie Man and I shared a table at a Collingwood function night with Yags, his dad and his grandmother. Very nice people. Sad to see him go but he obviously was not up to AFL standard.
