Half the people of this country voted for Abbott.
People can very much be that silly. |

Between Beames & now Thomas and Keeffe we have been figuratively flushed down the WC this off season.
I can abide the occasional Sandgroper, Croweater & Taswegian.
But no more Banana Benders -a thoroughly untrustworthy lot. |

Absolutely gutted for the players.
At the presser Pert and Balme said the players were schocked when they were told. Also said their body shape being lean, why would they need it.
Maybe I am too trusting, but cannot believe this is deliberate. |

As someone else pointed out, if you were going to cheat there are far more suitable PEDs they could have taken, considering their sport and respective body shapes _________________ "The last thing he expected WAS THE FIRST THING HE GOT!!!!!"

The way the Bummers saga has played out, although they're two completely different situations, it seems the two guys are going to have a very difficult time trying to prove this was accidental and not to their doing. If by chance it is a question of contaminated food or something of that nature, how the hell do you even prove that? Of course I am biased, but listening to Pert and Balme speak about how much of a class act both these guys are, and how utterly shocked they were to discover they were under investigation really makes me believe their innocence. |

I love a good conspiracy theory.
1.Essendon are found not guilty tomorrow but the AFL and ASADA get to save face and show that the AFL drugs testing policy is working.
2. Essendon get found guilty tomorrow but receive a soft penalty but the AFL is able to placate Essendon supporters outraged at the verdict and opposition supporters of the other 16 clubs outraged by the lenient sentence by the virtue that two players from the most hated of clubs will likely end up with 2 year bans.
3.Two players from the most high profile of clubs receive provisional suspensions a single day before the verdict for the biggest scandal in AFL history gets handed down in an attempt to split media attention from that decision, take some focus and pressure off all involved prior to the day and to soften up the public attitude towards whatever is handed down tomorrow. _________________ He's mad. Exactly. geez some people are quick to assume guilt and call for the firing squad. I wonder if they'd be as trigger happy if it was them or a family member in the gun. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

You are too trusting and I can't believe it either. Doesn't add up in this day & age. They must be devastated.
If it is contamination which sounds likely how the f*ck do you prove it? _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |
