I mentioned the other day ABC radio said it was going to be pinned but they said 12-16 weeks which I hoped was magpie bashing.
6-8 is still bad news and hope its closer to 6 than 8 he played well the other night made a huge difference to the team structure.
Interesting bucks said he played 10 minutes of the last until it happened I couldn't remembering him playing in the last term thought he went off at beginning of the last or didn't even come back on after 3/4 time. |

I blame that hand cooling glove thing we had going on the bench, his thumb was too numb to get out of the way! Interesting that brions got a few kicking in dangers, but one of our players gets kicked in the thumb, gets rubbed out for a third of the season and nothing from the scumps. _________________ "Hey Ma get off the dang roof!" |

Tim Broomhead, in the words of the great Nick Maxwell, here's your chance to f*****g step up!
Take your chance and cement your spot in the 22 son! |

Best player on the night. And with not much depth in our squad this is a big blow. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club

Huge blow. Can't afford that and don't have a replacement anywhere near his class and goal scoring ability. This sucks.
Only round 1 and some horror injuries right across many clubs. This game takes a heavy toll. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

It's been a while since we've been forced to give a young player quality midfield time, not sure who's going to get the nod but hopefully he grabs the opportunity with both hands.
For mine Elliot replaces Sidders in the midfield, and either Degoey or Broom plays forward. _________________ Defender...........

Buckley's just foxing - saying 6-8 weeks so several of the youngies think they've got a longer-term chance to step up and prove themselves.
Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen.
Sidey will be back by mid April, bone healed but jabbed up because of the secondary pin removal surgery. |

The only positive is that he'll be able to stay fit. But not Match fit I guess. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

^ Huh?
Pendlebury, Swan, Adams. Sounds like our third best mid to me. Who else do we have in their class? Elliott is a good player but it's a crime to play him in the middle all day; Kennedy should be playing every week but isn't, at least not yet. JT ... the less said the better. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Massive loss and difficult to replace! Time for either Broomhead or Kennedy to step up now! _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Have we had an injury turn out to be better than expected in the last 3 years? The worst case scenario is now the new positive outlook for Collingwood.
I'm fast losing faith in the Buckley idol I've been worshipping. Paganism (not Denis) or Voodoo here I come from now on. |
