Worth sharing, Stui, thanks. Great to hear he's getting things back on track.

It must be a remnant of my Christian upbringing, but I'd just feel incredibly guilty if that happened to me. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

This sums your post up
On another note...
SO, today I went back to see the doc about my knee.
All good at the moment, the physio is going well and my knee cap is doing the right things.
However, I now need to go see ANOTHER surgeon names Tim Whitehead in October about getting some work done to my knees. Apparently I've got excessive wear of the cartilage on one side of my knee that can cause arthritis by the time I'm 50. Alot of this has to do with the severity of my bowed legs.
Apparently there is a procedure where they can do something to my knees and use wedges and other bone and screws where they can straighten my legs and at the same time even out the pressure on my knee cartilage so it doesn't wear as it is. Apparently it's only a little incision on the inside of my knee.
This doesn't piss me off, it makes me happy as it looks like something can finally be done. Best part is, my feet will be back to where they should be when I stand straight (my knees don't touch - I can fit a fist in between) and I should be half an inch taller![/img] |

If someone stuck a fist in between me I'd be another inch taller also.

While Australia bats, the Pommie commentators talking about a dead pitch blah blah blah.
When Australia bowls, what happened to the pitch? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Change of routine for a Saturday, helped because I had yesterday off.
Just gave the spare room that i'm going to convert into a combo WIR and ensuite a coat of paint to get it to a starting point.
I'm going to cut holes in walls, tile over part and cover a lot with cupboards but this just gets a neat base coat. I can paint again once everything is done but that will be detail painting.
Suns shining outside, just fed a flock of Magpies in the front yard, time to take the mutt for a walk, shower and head in to Etihad. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Well it was Wednesday but I finally got my Grandmother clock back. It took me 9 months to get the guy to pick the thing up and another 10 months to get it back.
It was a gift for my great grandparents for their 50th wedding anniversary in 1950 so it was overdue for an overhaul.
The guy who fixed it is the only qualified watchmaker within cooee.
I had not heard it tick or chime since the late 80s so I'm stoked _________________ Spiral progress, unstoppable,
