Agree, Brown has had a very good year and no reason to expect anything less in 2016 and beyond.
As for the Blair, Toovey, and Goldsack trio, if other players take their spots then well and good but I don't imagine any of the 3 just rolling over to allow that. Onus is on the kids to demonstrate they offer a better option. Should make for an interesting preseason. |
The point of the thread is to put lines through players. This is a dumb thing to do unless you really have players who are finished, in which case you should be forcing them to retire. None of those listed are in this situation.
Even in 2010, players were not ruled out. They were given opportunities during the year but did not take them. Players like Blair were able to take the place of a Medhurst or Lockyer and O'Bree was clearly superseded by Ball. The same will happen with our current list, singling players out as not good enough to take us to a flag is juvenile and simply false when compared against history. _________________ Well done boys! |

Brown has had a good year. He's a better kick than Presti was so lets just lock him in as the gorilla minder until we get another option.
Blair and Toovey, it's simple for me. There's plenty of people after their spots, it's up to them to force those guys out of the side. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

As it turned out, only Johnson won a flag from that group.
Its time again, Pies.
Toovey, Blair, Brown... Your time is up. |
Flag next year then?😀 |
